June Murray, principal of RNIB College Loughborough, talks about their recent collaboration with 3M, a science-based technology company that is committed to improving lives.

In the challenge, students from secondary schools in the Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire areas were asked to design and construct a sustainable toy or a gadget that can be used by a young person with sight loss.

Chatting to RNIB Connect Radio’s Simon Pauley, June tells us more about this year’s entries and how the students tackled the challenge whilst keeping visually impaired people in mind.
