Ms Crouch gushed undeserved compliments about the NSPCC CPSU operation which so spectacularly erred over the FA safeguarding policy as you can read here http://bit.ly/2JFUtKc in this December 2016 post that coincided with the HoL debate - Abuse in Football. Our review was repeatedly referred to during the debate. As our post revealed, the NSPCC CPSU endorsed the FA child protection that was legally wrong.

The Minister's reply to the debate seemed to suggest that safeguarding just needed incremental improvements at the edges. Baroness Grey-Thompson supports the introduction of MR as her Duty of Care in Sport report made clear. The Government's rejection of MR delivered in March 18 was absent of empirical evidence to support its position. It had nothing to do with child protection but everything to do with keeping referrals to a minimum http://bit.ly/2rdxVsv to save money.
