'Ray of Hope' for South Sudanese University students in Zimbabwe
The Ministry of finance has released $400,000 dollars to cover tuition fees for South Sudanese students studying in Zimbabwe Universities.
The government-sponsored students numbering 76, occupied the embassy in Harare and pleaded for government intervention when the academic institutions gave notice to terminate their studies over non-payment of dues.
Moses Kat Monyjok, the student representative, was sent last week but is concerned that it fell short of the $500,000 needed.
Monyjok explains their plight to Sebit William in this interview.
