Two men jailed for selling Kodi-type TV boxes - do some people see illegal streaming as a victimless crime?
Two men have been jailed for four and a half years each, for selling hundreds of "Kodi-type" illegal streaming devices. The men were found guilty of 'conspiracy to defraud' and were sentenced at Newcastle Crown Court in England. Some of these 'Kodi-type' boxes allow you to stream movies, football matches or other sporting events - without a subscription. Do people who have these boxes in their homes believe it is 'ok to break the law' when they see it as a victimless crime? Taking money from 'huge multinationals'?
