Almost 20 miles of roadworks in Kent have been completed to help improve journeys for drivers as the big Easter getaway starts later...
Around 19 million journeys are expected to take place across Britain in the next five days with Good Friday expected to be the busiest for holidaymakers.
Routes to the port of Dover are likely to be particularly busy so cones have been removed from the A2 and A20.
