Season 2, Episode 2, Mar 27, 2018, 08:48 PM
Sue Davies is a typical hard working mum. In 2011 she suffered the unimaginable.
Her son Robert aged 26 yrs was travelling home in his car to see her and his son Cameron when it left the motorway and rolled over into a field. The impact was fatal.
Sue describes how she coped with that loss and how her grandson misses his Daddy and how Cameron has been her lifeline.
Sue has asked this quote is included on the podcast:
“Do not judge the bereaved mother. She comes in many forms. She is breathing, but she is dying. She may look young, but inside she has become ancient. She smiles, but her heart sobs. She walks, she talks, she cooks, she cleans, she IS, but she IS NOT, all at once. She is here, but part of her is elsewhere for eternity.”
