SF's Conor Murphy reveals he was physically abused and sexually groomed by the paedophile priest Fr Malachy Finnegan

Sinn Fein MLA Conor Murphy has spoken out about his time at at St Colman's College, Newry, and said paedophile priest Fr Malachy Finegan physically abused him and tried to sexually groom him. In an interview with the Press Association Mr Murphy described the priest as a "violent, volatile, bullying drunkard" and recounted an incident from when he was a 14-year-old pupil at the school.
