Connecticut state Sen. Len Suzio, R-13, says the state is in such bad financial shape, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy should declare a financial emergency.

Appearing with Dan Lovallo on CT On The Hill, Sen. Suzio, vice-chair of the legislature's transportation committee, talked about why he opposes the creation of a transportation authority.  He also discussed the state's dire financial situation, saying the next governor will inherit a $5 billion deficit, but that the state's finance could "collapse," before the new governor takes office.
