Director of Dunbeath day centre John Gunn tells MFR News reporter Bryan Rutherford that 1.5miles of traffic has been stuck on the A9 after snow gates closed both ways at Helmsdale earlier. Two coaches remain in the area, unable to get out. Volunteers are taking soup and sandwiches to those who can't get to the centre, while the others who made it in are much warmer.
