I thought Derry were there for the taking - Keith Long, Bohemians manager after defeat to Derry City at Dalymount
A disappointed Bohemians manager, Keith Long believed that Derry City were there for the taking before last night game. He also thought that the team didn't believe in themselves and didn't play on the night and that a days less rest than his opponents played a part in the defeat.
Derry City came away from Dalymount with there first three points of the season after Ronan Curtis put them ahead after 60 min. Bohemians had a chance to draw level soon after when McDermott was deemed to have fouled Devenney inside the penalty area. Gerard Doherty saved the resulting penalty from Stokes.
