The Secretary of State Karen Bradley says that if the issue of same sex marriage in Northern Ireland - is raised at Westminster, the government's policy will be to allow Conservative MPs to have a free vote. Answering a question from the Labour MP Conor McGinn - Mrs Bradley says the government regards same sex marriage as a devolved matter which should be dealt with by the Stormont Assembly. However Mrs Bradley says the power of Westminster to legislate in relation to the matter remains unaffected.
