In January last year, June Mcleod demanded special attention from Chief Constable Phil Gormley to look into the unexplained death of her son Kevin, who drowned in the town's harbour in 1997.
That call sparked a re-examination of the case file - although no further action was taken - but since then the family's campaign for justice has celebrated more milestones.
