Connecticut state Sen. Heather Somers, R-18th District, says the contract deal reached between Governor Malloy and public employee unions, during the summer, is unsustainable. In an interview with Dan Lovallo and Brad Davis, Sen. Somers used the example of a state employee, facing eight felony counts, who decided to retire and is now collecting a $7,000 per month pension.
