The Pioneers drop a 36-30 decision to the Vikings in their first Dual at the Les Kertscher Duals in Frazee. The shorthanded Pioneers kept it close despite featuring a lineup with 3 open weights due to injury and illness. Brandon Funk won a 4-3 decision, Jake Andres won by Forfeit, Brandon Tomala won by Fall, as did Jalen Jansen. Luke Girtz earned bonus points with a Tech Fall win and Carson Huls won a 14-5 Major Decision.
