Keen scientists from secondary schools in Kent are helping experts on a new project which aims to discover new antibiotics. The University of Kent are working with young scientists on a national project to investigate bacteria that could be made into antibiotics, to treat infectious diseases such as malaria and diahorrea. It's hoped they will overcome the resistant antibiotics that we already use. Dr Anastasios Tsaousis is involved.
