SPORTS Indian captain Virat Kohli has jumped up to second spot among the batsmen in the latest ICC Test Rankings, and in the process has leapfrogged the likes of David Warner, Cheteshwar Pujara, Kane Williamson and Joe Root. Kohli who began the just concluded Sri Lanka Test series at sixth on the list scored more than 600 runs at an average greater than 150 to bag the Man of the Series title en route the climb up the ladder. Kohli though will not be part of the ODI and T20 series against the Lankans as he asked to be rested.

ENTERTAINMENT Ranveer Singh, who is all set to begin the shoot of Gully Boys early next year, has collaborated with director Rohit Shetty for a new film Simmba. Ranveer made the announcement about the movie on Twitter and also shared his first look, which reminds us of none other than Salman Khan's Chulbul Pandey in Dabangg. The film will be co-produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and is believed to be a remake of Jr. NTR's Telugu blockbuster Temper.
