SPORTS Australian pacers Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc came out firing all cylinders on the final day of the Adelaide Test match against England and bowled out the visitors for 233 to register a thumping 120 run win. The Australians now lead the Ashes 2-0 and a win in the Perth Test will put the seal on the series. At the start of the day, England had 6 wickets in hand and needed 178 runs to win and level the series.
ENTERTAINMENT Amidst Deepika facing a series of threats over her upcoming film Padmavati, a letter, initiated by veteran actress Shabana Azmi and signed by several other female actors, has reportedly been sent to PM Narendra Modi urging him to take an immediate action. However, there have been reports doing the rounds that actress Kangana Ranaut refused to sign the letter when Azmi approached her. In a recently released statement, Ranaut addressed the controversy surrounding the “Deepika Bachao campaign”. The actress said that she is with Deepika Padukone and the Bajirao Mastani star has all her support but she did not sign the petition as it is “lead by someone who character assassinated me when I was bullied” and added that she is an individual perfectly capable of supporting who she likes without anyone's support and that Deepika has her support over the Padmavati row.

Snapdragon 835-powered PCs are finally a reality. At the opening day of Qualcomm's second annual Snapdragon summit, Microsoft's Terry Myerson has officially announced 'The Always Connected PC' powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform. At the Snapdragon Summit, Asus CEO Jerry Shen showcased the first Asus PC running an octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor along with Windows 10 S operating system called the NovaGo.
