Helena Nolan: Ireland's new ambassador to Belgium

Earlier this autumn, Helena Nolan presented her credentials to King Philippe of Belgium and became Ireland’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium. She replaced Eamonn Mac Aodh who held the position since March 2012. Leaving her job as Director of Disarmament and Non-proliferation in the Department of Foreign Affairs in Ireland, Ambassador Nolan spoke to The Bulletin about her new role and her future in Belgium.
