Jean Faulkner, the woman who fronted campaign to keep open her nursing home, has passed away aged 98

Sad news to bring you this morning. Jean Faulkner who many of you will remember as the lady who fronted the campaign to keep open a nursing home in Cookstown has passed away aged 98. Jean was a remarkable woman who despite her frailty, fought for her rights and those of other residents and took on the Government. She will be laid to rest this afternoon. She spoke to Stephen back in 2014 when she made an emotional plea to keep the Westlands home, in which she was a resident, open. Sheena Costello was Jean's cousin and she spoke to Stephen this morning.
