ENTERTAINMENT Days after Sanal Kumar Sasidharan’s S Durga and Ravi Jadhav’s Nude were left out of the 48th International Film Festival (IFFI), festival's jury chairman Sujoy Ghosh has resigned from the post. Ghosh, who has directed films like Kahaani and Ahalya, confirmed the news of his resignation to News18 but refused to say anything more. The final list released by the Information and Broadcasting ministry on November 9 had 26 feature and 16 non-feature films for the Indian Panorama section of IFFI, which is scheduled to be held from November 20 to 28 in Goa. Nude and S Durga were apparently recommended for Indian Panorama section by the 13-member jury headed by Ghosh but was later left out of the ministry's list. AUTO Home grown automaker Mahindra has launched a new updated version of its popular SUV Scorpio at a price tag of Rs 9.97 lakh. Being a mid-life facelift, the new scorpio gets several nips and tucks which include exterior design changes like a redesigned tailgate, new ORVMs, new design alloy wheels and a bolder front grille. The mHawk engine powering the scorpio has also been retuned to deliver about 20 bhp more which will come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
