Day five of the RHI public inquiry was heard yesterday. The Nolan Show will be bringing you all the detail into how the cash for ash scheme ultimately failed. Yesterday it was revealed that almost four years before the RHI scheme was launched in Northern Ireland, Arlene Foster's officials removed a key warning. It would have alerted her to the lack of resources in the part of her department which would develop the disastrous scheme. In his opening statement, Joseph Aiken, junior counsel to the inquiry, referred to the evidence about what went on within the DUP minister's Department nine years ago. On being told what had happened, the chair of the inquiry, Sir Patrick Coghlin, couldn't hide his surprise. Stephen spoke to Newsletter political editor Sam McBride.
