‘We should not MLA pay’ – Shadow Secretary of State for NI Owen Smith #BBCNolan

The Shadow Northern Ireland Secretary Owen Smith has criticised the government over its handling of the talks process.

Owen Smith said it was inexplicable that the Prime Minister had only visited Northern Ireland once in recent months and claimed she had done little to move the talks process forward. He called on the Prime Minister to "get stuck in ".

Mr Smith, also, told the House that the Secretary of State should not cut MLA pay in the absence of devolution.
