Boat Radio – Deliver a baby at sea!

Last year, Boat Radio’s medical expert, Dr John Ross, made a programme explaining what to do if you’re faced with the prospect of delivering a baby on board a boat. We’ve had a number of requests to repost that show so here it is. It makes absolutely fascinating listening. Dr Ross has three decades of experience delivering medical care to people in extreme circumstances and remote locations. He is the medical director of Telemed+, which provides care to participants of the Clipper Round the World Race. He is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. When not dealing with emergencies and delivering babies, he enjoys classic car rallying with his son.
