Denied a school bus pass - desperate father says he can't afford to send his children to school
A single father of six claims he is being denied two school bus passes for his daughters meaning he can no longer afford to send them to school. Paul Steward, who lives close to Saintfield, says he now can't afford to send his two girls to Ballynahinch High School after the Education Authority withdrew their free bus passes for this school year. The Education Authority says it's removed their right to free travel because Mr Steward didn't send his children to their nearest school even though that school has no available places. Our reporter Nicola Weir has been speaking to Mr Steward, and Vinny got reaction from Kathleen O'Hare, principal of Hazelwood Integrated College.
