Official: Tourism Industry has potential to drive South Sudan economy
As the globe observes World Tourism Day today, the Ministry of Wildlife Conservation and Tourism is confident the tourism industry has the potential to drive the country’s economy if peace is restored.
The Ministry in a statement in observance of the day points at abundant resources notably the Fulla rapids, bedden, the Didinga ranges, Dongton, Lopit and the Imatong mountains which offer possibilities of water rafting, hiking, rock climbing among others.
Khamis Adieng Ding, Spokesperson in the Ministry told Miraya Breakfast show that the absence of peace and poaching are holding the country back from realizing its full tourism potential.
