Americorps STICH Training - New Child Safety Seat Laws - Connect-Us

This week on the award-winning 'For the People' host John Voket hears about how the Community Health Center Association of Connecticut, in partnership with AmeriCorps is training recruits to begin delivering health education, health insurance literacy, and public health initiatives across the state. And did you hear that Connecticut's Legislature passed the state's newest version of a child restraint bill earlier this year? It goes into effect on October 1 - so we'll chat with AAA which played a key role in advocating for the new law, and a research and emergency responder who explains how the new law will save lives and minimize injuries to children in vehicle collisions.
