The sister of a Sheffield teenager, who drowned in a city centre canal, tells Hallam something must be done to stop people dying there.

Claire Wilson's backing calls for more safety features at Victoria Quays - where her 19 year old brother Alex drowned after a night out last month.

It's emerged a coroner raised safety concerns back in 2015 after a 20 year old died in similar circumstances at the same place.

The Canal and River Trust say they're investigating the incident - and they installed an extra life ring in reponse to the coroner's concerns back in 2015.
