Exit Interview with US Ambassador to South Sudan, Molly Phee

Over the coming weeks, Molly Phee steps down from the position of U.S. ambassador to South Sudan, which she has held since July 15, 2015.

A career member of the Senior Foreign Service, Molly Phee’s tenure was marked by progress between the two countries, but also a lot of diplomatic interventions aimed to support a peace process to end the conflict in South Sudan.

In an exit interview, US ambassador to South Sudan spoke with Radio Miraya Presenter, Gabriel Shaddar about the US – South Sudan patternship, Revitalization of the Peace agreement in South Sudan, the Security situation and how badly the US government wants to see South Sudan rise up to its feet to become self-reliant
