It's been revealed that rural crime cost Kent more than 1.5 million pounds last year which has risen sharply again in the first half of this year. The figures from the NFU have sparked concerns that a new wave of crime is hitting the countryside. Thieves across the county appear to be targeting terrain vehicles, quad bikes, tools and machinery. Kent Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Scott has responded to the figures.
