The American Royal BBQ contest is one of the premiere events in Kansas City. Lynn Parman, CEO of the American Royal, comes in to chat about the changes coming to the World Series of Barbecue this year, including a date change to Labor Day Weekend. We also talk with Lynn about the mission of the American Royal outside of barbecue time. Plus, in our continuing series about the 2017 Head For The Cure 5k, we talk with Tim Elliott. This is Tim's 10th year participating in Head For The Cure, which means he has lived with brain tumor for over a decade. We talk with Tim about what Head For The Cure means to him and how his life changed after his diagnosis.
