Officials with the Lyons County Sheriff's office say a murder suspect from Silver Springs has been captured in Lovelock. An anonymous tip placed 45-year-old Sonny Fernandez at a Lovelock gas station, and Lovelock Police arrested him as he was leaving. Fernandez had been free on a $500,000 bond, but failed to show up for a July 17th arraignment in the murder of Robert Buchanan III at a gas station in Silver Springs. Fernandez had faked a crime scene at his home to appear as if he met with foul play before he fled. If you have information on this case, call the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office or Secret Witness.
