7/30/17 1 PM - Top of the Hour Newscast

Officials at the Washoe County Sheriff's Office say a man apparently drown yesterday while swimming at Sand Harbor not far from the north end of Lake Tahoe. Deputies say the man went into the water about five yesterday afternoon and began having some sort of problem. Life guards pulled him from the water and began life-saving efforts, however, he was taken to a hospital in Incline Village where he was declared dead. The man's name has not yet been released. He's believed to be in his late 20s. The Washoe County Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
