Northern Nevada Business Weekly is reporting the owners of the Nugget in Sparks have purchased the empty Bourbon Square Casino, right across the street on Victorian Avenue. It's been closed since 2015. A subsidiary of Marnell, called Smooth Bourbon bought the property for 3.5 million. The casino for years was known as the Silver Club, it closed in 2009, and reopened in 2013 as Bourbon Square. The hotel converted into apartments on the property, was not part of the sale.
