The Sparks Police Department has announced the arrest of a Reno man in a July 5 death in west Sparks. 29 year old Victor Montelongo was booked on charges of open murder with the use of a deadly weapon, home invasion and burglary. Sparks Police are still not releasing the name of the person found dead about 9:46 a.m. July 5, 2017 in the 2100 block of Prater Way. Police are still trying to notify next of kin.
