The National Front on the march
Recorded by Ian Rawes.
Around 220–250 members and sympathisers of the far-right, white nationalist National Front gather by the Cenotaph for their annual Remembrance Sunday march. Two ex-servicemen wearing the green berets of the Royal Marines vocally object to their presence, but are held back by police. A man tries to engage the recordist in conversation. A steward calls out to the marchers, and they head off along Whitehall to the beating of drums.
