The state is considering declaring a marijuana emergency, and passing regulations to keep the 47 licensed recreation pot distributors supplied. The state has declared that there are an insufficient number of distributors to meet consumer demand, and they will consider emergency changes at their July 13th meeting. The released signed by the Governor says no wholesale liquor dealer has met the application requirements, and without retail sales, the state will not realize the revenue on which the state budget relies.
