Investigators with the Sparks Police Department have determined that the death of a person last Wednesday on Prater was a homicide. Police were called to the 21-hundred block of Prater a little before ten Wednesday morning to a report of a person down. The person was dead and a death investigation began. The person's identity will not be released until all relatives have been notified. A suspect in the death has been identified and interviewed. Investigators continue conducting interviews.
