Audio Description (AD) is an audio track that plays, via headphones, describing what is physically happening, during actor's dialogue, on television and cinemas screens. This is delivered using equipment that the cinemas install in each theatre room. The UK's leading sight loss charity, RNIB, is looking for blind film buffs to trial a new way of delivering the AD via their smart phones or tablets, at a major London venue in August.
