Tea with Austen

Jane Austen may be an English writer but her appeal is universal as was obvious at Waterstone's Tea with Jane Austen event celebrating the bicentenary of of her death with people from Spain, Bulgaria, Romania, Belgium, the US and the UK and others, in attendance. We spoke with attendees and organizers and among other things found out the origin of cucumber sandwiches.
