A Kent children's author is raising money for a dog charity with the launch of his new book. Gerald Smythe's "Barking Mad" is about a Diabetes alert dog who warns his owner when her blood sugar levels drop. He met Claire Pearson and her dog Pal, who inspired the story, last year. Claire tells us about how Pal helps her, and how it feels to be in the new book.
