Boat Radio - Dr Sergio Ruiz Halpern, Seabin Project

The Seabin is an ingeniously simple and really interesting solution to the problem of plastic waste in our oceans and waterways. It floats just below the surface of the water in harbours, marinas and bays and sucks in floating garbage. Dr Sergio Ruiz Halpern is Seabin’s marine conservation specialist. He chatted to Dawn MacPhee about the project.
