One man has been hospitalized after a shooting at a park in downtown Reno. Police say the victim, who was shot in the head, was conscious when they found him at Barbara Bennett Park. Police say the man in his 20's was alone in the park just before 9 o'clock last night when the shooting occurred. Several witnesses reported seeing cars speeding from the area after the shots were fired. The Regional Gang Unit is responding, but it's not clear at this point if the shooting is gang related. Police have not released any suspect information.
