He explains how the authorities have created a vicious circle where they have pumped enormous money into the economy, propped up housing prices, which means wealth for quite a few but inflation for the majority and people have a hard time letting go to the wealth via high taxes.

Richards says one thing is clear - that taxes are likely to go up in the next parliament.
