Steve Penk - Last Key 103 show 1996
A commercial radio name who rose to the premier league. Steve Penk began his career in 78 in his home town, at Piccadilly Radio where he remained for 18 years. Famous for his wind up calls, Penk left the North in 1996, bound for Capital, before transferring to Virgin where he ‘replaced’ Chris Evans. Penk has probably returned to more stations than most too, returning both to Capital and to Key. In 2008, he bought the Revolution.
Hear, here, his valedictory show at Key 103 before his first trip to the land where the streets are paved with gold.
