Should you have to go to a destination bachelorette party just because it’s for your sister-in-law?

She is invited to her sister-in-law’s destination bachelorette party but she doesn’t want to go. She says she doesn’t know anyone, it’s expensive and she doesn’t think she will have any fun. He says it’s family and this is just what you do for family. What do you think?
