Wrap Recycling Action Project - The Connection - Helping Hands Outreach

This morning on the award-winning 'For the People' John Voket is revisiting the DEEP WRAP program Coordinator about Connecticut's exciting new Wrap Recycling Action Project to help remind residents about the various types of plastic bags and wraps that can be recycled at local grocery or retail stores. Then we'll hear about the challenges facing one of the older and premier human and family service agencies in the state - The Connection, which provides diverse behavioral health, family support and community justice programs to thousands of state residents. And we'll close introducing Helping Hands Outreach - a truly grassroots effort that resulted from one individual's desire to help feed the hungry - and how this humble effort has attracted the attention and support of the Subaru Share the Love initiative.
