Listen: North East runners share their stories ahead of Great Aberdeen Run
Our reporter Phil McDonald spoke with Neil Murray and Ros MacLeod who are are taking part in the run this year, which is coming to Aberdeen for the first time.
Nick survived a subarachnoid brain hemorrhage 14 years ago. Nick has previously raised/contributed money to the Neurosciences Ward at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, as they helped save his life. He is aiming to do this again.
Ros is from Portlethen. She is taking on her first half marathon, raising money for Aberdeen Foyer, for whom she works as a support worker. Aberdeen Foyer is a charity for homeless young adults aged 16-25.
