Chloe Smolkin - The DP

Our guest on Digital Podcast this week is Chloe Smolkin discussing her growth and process working in the camera department. From camera PA, to first assistant all the way to overseeing cinematography on features, commercials, documentaries, Chloe offers a look into her professional development as a director of photography or ‘DP’. Together with host Nathan Russell, they examine the importance of making oneself indispensable to the DP by not only delivering what they need but anticipating what they need, offers advice to directors about working with DP’s and how Chloe transitioned from animation into working behind the camera.
