A campaign for ALL taxis to be allowed in Belfast's bus lanes - does that sound like a good idea?

Should taxis be allowed to drive in bus lanes. Currently there is a 12 week trial that allows certain types of taxis to travel in Bus lanes throughout what is to be the new Belfast Rapid Transport route running from West to East Belfast and including the 12 hour bus lanes in the city centre, which link the two routes with the trial ending in May. But William McCausland owner of Fona Cab is calling for the Department of Infrastructure for ALL taxis to be allowed in ALL bus lanes throughout the city.
