There is something for everyone. LACSD’s Earth Day event, features fun and educational activities for all ages. Tour a water reclamation plant and/or a material recovery facility, enjoy music and dance performances, create eco-friendly arts and crafts, and participate in many other activities while learning about environmental issues. The event is free and is attended by over 2,000 people. Earth Day 2017 will be held on Saturday, April 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sanitation Districts Main Office, located at 1955 Workman Mill Road, Whittier. http://www.lacsd.org/environment/earth_day/
